Nathan's Football Game

Yesterday was Nathan's football game. I took pictures of them until about half time, and got some really good ones too. Nate was so dang cute and determined looking and sweaty.

Brady Robbins is probably the cutest kid on the team!

Marcus was pretty cute too.
Nate is detter-mined to win. One time we were reading scriptures and 'determined' was one of the words. He pronounced it detter mined!

I'm not sure what's going on in this picture but I thought it looked cool!

At about half time I got really bored of taking pictures of the game, so I switched to all the adorable little babies sitting on the sidelines! This little boy's name is Austin and he was so happy and way photogenic. Whenever he looked at me with my camera he would get this big ol cheesy smile!

He couldn't quite walk yet so when he wanted to stand up he would hold on to his mom's pants. He had a fun time playing Peek-A-Boo with me through the jeans!

This is Oakley Krumvieda's little sister! She is adorable!

She loved pushing around her stroller.

Photography Contest

I'm entering a photography contest at school with a slideshow of pictures of nature and stuff. On Monday, I went to Oma Kim's house after school and took a billion pictures of all of her wildlife. Well, it isn't really wildlife, but it's beautiful.

Baby Cousin Kyson

On Sunday we went to Oma Kim and Opa Brent's house for Sunday dinner with the family. Angie was there with baby Kyson (who is so freakin adorable!) and I stole him from her to take pictures of him.

Nathan is Popular!

Aren't these little boys so freakin cute? Every time Nathan gets his motorcycle out, the boys collect themselves on this sidewalk and watch him ride by for about a half hour! One time, they all decided to get on their dressup clothes, so they were all Power Rangers with the exception of Batman.

Tribute to Peatie and Libbie

I'm not quite sure why I'm posting this, but we think that Peatie is going blind, which of course means that Morgen and Nathan think he is going to die in the next hour. Parakeets usually live for about 12-15 years, and Peatie is nearing that. I don't know for sure how old he is, but he is definitely old! His pupils are teeny and his feathers are changing color, which means he isn't a baby.

We think that he is going blind because his pupils have been gigantic lately. He spends the whole day in his nesting box and hardly ever comes out. He is really nervous about being put on different perches or fingers. He is a lot more trusting and doesn't squawk anymore when you pet him. And he runs into everything!
So, of course, Morgen and Nathan are freaking out and keep asking me all these questions about a new bird that doesn't exist! "When are you getting a new bird?" "What are you going to name it?" "Will it be a boy or a girl?"

I'm not that scared of Peatie dying any minute. I think it would be better the sooner he died, because then he would be put out of his misery, if he really is blind. I'm just scared of coming home from school and finding him laying on the floor of his cage, dead. But hopefully it won't be on the floor of his cage because I made him all cozy in his nesting box with seeds and stuff.

Only in Utah

We were on our way to Nathan's football game and at first we were stuck behind about 3 super slow cars. We were getting mad at first because we were going to be late, but then we laughed for about 20 minutes straight once we saw what the hold up was!

This guy was taking his horse for a walk. The reins were attached to the side view mirror and the guy was driving at about 5 miles an hour.
