Dad's Mission Reunion

On Friday night we went to my dad's mission reunion. He served in Dresden Germany. It was actually really fun to go to his reunion. I love his mission presidents - they are adorable! I got to meet all of his old companions, eat really yummy food, and see the coolest car in all of history. It was called a Trabi, and it was the miniature-est thing you will ever see.

That is the hood of a normal sized car on the left side of the picture, and the blue car is the Trabi.

My dad had a lot of fun driving it!

A model of the Trabi ...

This is a little German boy's outfit, I think.

I understood a lot more German than I thought I would. It was really fun during the prayer to try and pick out all the words I knew, and just from those words, I could tell what the phrase was. They also had a lot of German sayings and scriptures and things that I could understand. I didn't think that I knew as much as I do! It made me very proud.

The food was really good!

Easter

We were having a hard time finding a Saturday or Sunday to do an Easter Egg Hunt on, so we did it last Sunday. We ended up doing it indoors this year because it was snowing outside, but it was still fun. The pictures would have turned out better if it was outside, though.

Before the hunt started:

Notice that Kinley's basket is twice the size of her. I'm not sure why the picture is sideways - sorry.

Nathan got like 10 candy bracelets this year and he opened them all!

I kinda pretended to hunt for the eggs. Me and all the men went behind the kids and got all the eggs that they missed, which was a lot!

Kyson is crawling all over the place. It is the cutest thing ever!

Lola found him and thought it was really funny to lick his face!

Look at all that slobber!
And he's back for more ...

Diego likes to play fetch with objects that are twice the size of him!

I just thought these pictures turned out pretty cool - they are of flower vases
