Recent 'Funnies'

Mostly Caleb. Actually probably all Caleb, but all Cute!

Mom painted the laundry room and showed it off to everyone. Caleb walks in and goes, "Wow! This looks AMAZING!"

We were at Costco and Caleb wanted lunch. We were trying to figure out what he wanted. He kept saying, "One of those long cimmon (cinnamon) fings yis (with) cimmon and sugar." "A churro?" "Yeah! A cheerio! That's what it is!"

Caleb usually has a hard time finishing all his dinner. He eats like 5 breakfasts and nothing else the whole rest of the day, unless there are cookies in the pantry. Then he will eat about 5 of those, along with his 5 breakfasts. Anyways, we made French Toast one night for dinner (a breakfast food) and Caleb says, "Yum! Mom, I can finish ALL mine dinner tonight!"

When I exercise, I have a giant water bottle that I drink out of. When I'm done, it's usually about half full, so I just stick it in the freezer. I was running on the treadmill one day, drinking out of my waterbottle that is half ice, and Caleb notices and says, "Whoa! How did you get dat big ice cube in there?"

You probably all know that Zoee has been in heat. So, we have bought baby diapers, cut a whole in the bottom for her tail, and stuck them on. Real diapers for dogs at the Pet Store were like 20 bucks for 6 or something, so we improvised a little! We decided to take Zoee up to Oma and Opa's for dinner on Mother's Day! Talon noticed her diaper and asked why she was wearing a diaper, and Caleb says, "Because her butt is bleeding!" in the duh-why-didnt-you-know-that kind of voice.

We were in the car yesterday talking about ideas for the car situation when we go to Lake Powell. (we are taking Zoee). When I mentioned that detail, Caleb goes, "We can't take Zoee! If she goes in the water, she will sink!"

And the best for last (this one is by Nathan)-

After church on Mother's Day, my dad asked Nathan to put the dishes away. Nathan groans and says, "Ugh. I thought today was gonna be a HAPPY Mother's Day!"
