We drove down to Lake Powell on Wednesday, came home Monday, spent the night at our house, and then flew to Reno, drove to Lake Tahoe and stayed there until Friday, then on Saturday drove to Sacramento and had Jamie's baptism and Tristin's blessing. I was so happy to sleep in my own bed!!!
Me and Zoee before we left to go to Lake Powell. Every time we go on vacation, she tries to sneak into the car!
We were there over the 4th of July, and the houseboat around the corner bought tons of huge fireworks, so we got our own private fireworks show! My dad bought 3 little ones from Walmart that lasted about 10 seconds, so nobody cared about them. But Caleb was sad in this picture because he couldnt go light them with my dad...

Lake Powell
Now he is happier...
My mom was looking for pictures of my dad a few weeks ago, and in every single picture he was making a funny face. We didn't have one picture where he looked normal until I went outside and took one of him! This is just another example of his funny face...
We decided to paint everyone's toenails 4th of July colors!
Tubing...
So here are the boys, tubing, but not holding on to the handles....
Then, we go over a bump, and Nathan goes flying backwards, and Caleb lands in the center of the tube...
Another bump, and Caleb lands backwards in his seat... Isnt that an awesome story?!
Nathan tried about 6 times and then gave up, because it was 'too hard'!
I got some cool pictures of everyone skiing!
I was so proud of my mom! She took TWENTY FIVE pictures of me wakeboarding! It was amazing!
Matt decided to have a contest to see if people liked Coke Zero or Pepsi One better. We poured them in plastic cups and wrote what it was on the bottom...
Everyone guessed right, and everyone liked the Pepsi One more.
The 3 puppies...
Before...
After...
We went on a really long hike, but it was fun. We were walking along a stream, and there were frogs and tadpoles everywhere, so the boys had lots of fun! Eventually we went into a dry canyon, and then at the end there was this boulder wedged in between the canyon walls.
We had to go across this little puddle thing, so the smart people took our shoes off. When we were stopped to put them back on, Caleb says, "Oh, greaaat... mine socks are pink!" The water was like mud, and the sand and rock and mud at Lake Powell is red, so it turned his socks light red!
The next day we hiked up to the Indian ruins. Without realizing it, we parked the boat on the wrong side, so we had to hike about a mile around the water (it was so disgusting). But we ended up swimming in it anyways, because no one wanted to hike a mile back! I learned not to be in the lead, because the 'leaders' always went the wrong way and we ended up hiking twice as far!
Nate, hot and sweaty, with the writing on the wall in the background...
