San Diego!!!

WARNING: PICTURE OVERLOAD

San Diego was super fun, aside from the sunburns. It was overcast until about noon, but after that the sun came out and it was burning hot- perfect pool weather! We got there Monday morning, and since its really close to where Andre and Becky live, they came to visit us at the hotel pool.

I love the double chins there...

We got to go to San Diego because my dad had a conference down there and his work was paying for the hotel, so we got a free vacation! My dad's friend had the same idea of bringing his whole family down, so we hung out with them on Monday, too, and the kids played the knock-you-off-the-shoulders-game in the pool. It was way fun.

Anything unusual here?
Haha this duck came back every day- it was interesting.

Me and Nate getting ready for a dip :)

I tried an outtie French braid on Morgen for the first time, and it turned out really good, so she modeled it for me

AJ and Isaiah are the cutest little boys- so I got plenty of pictures of them!
Giving a hug-

AJ was so cute just chillin with his apple!

Since we were on the harbor, there wasn't a beach to go to, but there is a path that goes all down the edge of the ocean, with plenty of street vendors and stuff along the way.
This guy has an interesting talent- he balances rocks! It was so cool to watch him!

Our family at the Hard Rock Cafe. We went out to eat for every meal except breakfast, which was cool, but I was sick of restaurant food and ready for a home cooked meal by the time we got home.

On Tuesday, we walked down to the USS Midway, which is an old aircraft carrier that you can tour. It was huge! This is the view from the top of the Midway-

The kids out in front

This was a little path thing that went off the edge.

We could sit in the cockpits of different airplanes and stuff- this was in a helicopter

Underneath, they had a jail for the soldiers that were being bad.
Coming back to our hotel... you can see Morgen in the bottom left, walking on the path

Sadly, we didn't have a view out our hotel room window, but this a view from the hall window.

The boys really just wanted to watch TV all day. They hated anything that had to do with walking, which was a bummer, because we walked everywhere. We didn't have a car.

Caleb playing on my dad's I-touch. I thought this was pretty funny.
