The trip to Yellowstone was long, but so beautiful. We stayed with Oma Cheryl and Opa Larry in a campsite. They had their motorhome, and we stayed in a cabin. It was lots of fun! On Friday, our first full day, we went on a hike to Hidden Falls, where there is a huge waterfall flowing into Jenny Lake. It was beautiful. On Saturday, we drove around Yellowstone. We went to Old Faithful and were there so long that we almost watched it erupt three times! There were a lot of geysers and streams that were boiling because they were so hot. It was crazy. We saw a lot of wildlife, too. On the hike, there was a mama moose and her baby. They were right alongside the path, so I got a great picture. There were also a ton of buffalo, and one got about ten feet away from the road, where we were taking pictures. It was so cool! We visited the Carlsons, our old neighbors, in Idaho, and they want to go in October some time. They said that's when the elk mate, and it's really cool because of the colors and all of the elk calls. It was long, but very pretty and tons of fun!
