California

Sorry to put three posts about one vacation, but there is just so much to blog about! Here are some more pictures of the blessing that I finally got on. This is the whole gang after the blessing.

My mom and baby AJ.

Andre Senior and Andre Junior

Morgen was playing Ring Around the Rosies with the little girls in the foyer after sacrament meeting!

I said that I wanted a picture of these girls, and Jamie placed them where she wanted them and did a super cute pose. I noticed that Jamie really likes to have her picture taken!

This was the lunch after the blessing. Brynn and Joely were having a jello fight.

Hudson was adorable, too!

The kids loved playing games - their favorite was battleship.

This is what the dads did after lunch. Computer and football!

We tried to go to the beach later on Sunday. That was a really, really bad decision. It was so windy that you could barely walk. Sand was blowing everywhere and you could hardly see anything, but those of us who were adventrous (and stupid) went out onto the pier. It was better once we were away from the beach and sand, but it was still really windy. My eyes were watering the whole time and every kid that came with us asked why I was crying!

I don't even think that this is our family - I just thought it was a cool picture!

Bryson, Nathan and Caleb on the pier.

Our family and Jacqui (Jessica always seemed to chicken out)

Here are some cool pictures of the ocean.

You can see how windy it was here - there is sand everywhere!

Disneyland

Disneyland was a success! It was so much fun! We still had three days left on our tickets from Disneyworld, so we used one of those days. We were kinda bummed because those tickets weren't parkhoppers, so we couldn't go to California Adventure. But when they were exchanging the Disneyworld tickets for Disneyland tickets, they changed them for parkhoppers! So we were able to go to both parks. It was so cool!

However, some people (not to point fingers) were a little bit wimpy and didn't go on the scary rides at California Adventure. Even Caleb went on the Tower of Terror! I do have to say that his arms were glued to my dad and he was shaking for about an hour after, but he did it! It was so funny! We got off and he goes, "I did not like that ride!" and twenty minutes later, he was saying that it was the best ride ever.

The only part that I didn't like was that my legs were on fire by the end of the day. I have a problem with my knee-pits getting really sore really easily (my mom doesn't think that's possible). FYI a knee-pit is the pit behind your knee, like on the other side of your leg. We waited in line for Finding Nemo for about 45 minutes and I could barely walk! The funny thing and probably the only thing that I remember was that Caleb was bored when we were in line, so he started playing with the little sign that tells you how long the wait is. Somehow, he managed to change it to 2 hours, so we were the last ones in line for 15 minutes until somebody changed it back!

Nathan, Caleb and my dad with their Captain Mickey Sparrow hats (as Nathan calls them) on the bus to the airport

This is a sweet picture from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Joely and Hudson were little troopers. They were out cold by the end of the day!

I got the cutest pictures of Joely! Here she was sitting on the Merry-Go-Round.

Caleb loved his Mickey Mouse hat. He took it back and traded for a Pirate Mickey Ears hat, but I thought that this one was better. There were sunglasses attached, and it shaded him!

Here are Caleb and Nathan with their Pirate Mickey Ears Hats.

Jacqui, Morgen, Jessica and I eating cotton candy. Well, I didn't eat it because I'm scared of it. When I was like 6, we went to Disney on Ice with my grandma and I ate a ton of cotton candy. Then, when we were driving home up the mountain, I puked it all up and I haven't eaten cotton candy since.

Everybody loved hanging out with Brynn and Bryson! They were all so cute together!

Daddy and Caleb on a ride (I don't know which one!)

What do you know? Dad's eyes are closed. My mom said that his eyes are closed in probably closed in at least 50% of the pictures we have of him.

Mom and Nathan on a space rocket type ride. It just took you up into the air and twirled you around until you were dizzy, then stopped.

Hudson and Kim.

AJ's Blessing!

AJ is such a little sweetheart! I think that the whole time I was down there, I only heard him cry once. Usually babies aren't that cute until they get a little older and start to fill out, but he is adorable! I am really lucky to have such cute little cousins.

He was taking a poop during the photoshoot!

He tried so hard to smile but this is the best shot that I got! This was after he pooped, when he was all comfy in it.

The whole gang.

Hudson and AJ. This is by far one of the cutest pictures that I got from the whole vacation!

Sorry about the limited number of pictures, but my blog is being weird and only uploads one picture at a time, so it takes like half an hour to upload five pictures. I had to be very choosy for the pictures to put on this post.

The First Snow - Too Early!

We had the first snow the other day - it was waaay too early! I decided that I really really really don't like winter. It's too cold and windy and freezing and not fun. I think that it will be okay to take pictures of Zoee in the snow, but other than that I won't be very happy all winter long!

The things I hate about winter:

1. Cold, cold, cold
2. I don't know how to snowboard or ski, so I don't really have anything to look forward to except snow angels!
3. I have to sit at the bus stop forever in freezing weather at 7 in the morning.
4. Traverse Mountain is really hilly, so it takes 5 minutes to get up our culdesac.
5. Everything is really icy and nobody ever salts it, so I can't go running in the morning (which means that if I want excercise, it has to be on the treadmill)
6. You are stuck inside all day!

The things that are okay about winter:
1. You get a lot more stuff done inside than in the summer (putting clothes away and doing homework, mainly)
2. It's fun to take pictures of Zoee and the kids playing in the snow
3. We get hot chocolate by the fire and soup for dinner almost every night!

Zoee loved to stick her face in the snow, but I'm not sure why!

Morgen's Latest Photoshoot

These turned out really cute, and Morgen really wanted me to post them! I think that this is the first photoshoot with my new camera.

This one is by far my absolute favorite - the colors are gorgeous!
