Christmas!

I tried to put these pictures in chronological order, but I don't know if that happened!

We had our Nativity Scene dinner thing on Tuesday night, I think. I finally got to be Mary again (Morgen has been Mary the past three years or so), and Nathan was Joseph. Baby Kyson was going to be Baby Jesus, but he had to have his diaper changed. Morgen was an angel, and I think that Caleb was a bunny! He wanted to be the donkey, but the only donkey costume that fit was a baby one, and he thought that it looked like a bunny rabbit.

Isn't Kinley the cutest sad lamb you have ever seen? She was sad that Caleb wouldn't let her sit in the mini recliner!

On the night before Christmas Eve, all four kids slept over at Oma Kim's house. It was really fun!

Opa went around in circles with his snowblower and make a huge snowpile, which turned into a snow fort. The kids dug a hole in the middle and made stairs on one side, and Opa kept going around and around and adding more snow to it! I wasn't there to build the fort, but I did spend the night, because I had to go to Velocity training for Volleyball from 5-6. : (

Christmas Eve!
Hanging our stockings by the fire with care, in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there!
Christmas Eve at Oma Kim and Opa Brent's . . .
Aunt Maggie wasn't going to see us on Christmas, so we got to open the presents from her on Christmas Eve. The boys each got a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots, so we spent about half an hour playing with them, and they haven't been touched since. In fact, I think that the only thing the boys have played with since Christmas is the Wii! Not a big surprise!
Caleb wasn't very happy that Dad kept beating him!
I love the looks on their faces when they are being competitive!
This year for our Seafood Dinner, Oma tried a Louisiana Shrimp Boil. It was really good. You put everything into a ginormous pot (corn, sausage, potatoes, shrimp, crab, spices, etc), and cook it. Then you separate it into bowls and let people pick what they want. It was really good.
Christmas Morning - the tree. Mom and Dad said that 'Santa' wasn't going to bring as many presents this year because we already have a lot of the things that we need, but apparently Santa wasn't thinking along the same lines! I think that this picture was even taken after some of the presents had been opened!
Nathan loved his BYU pillowcase that I made him!
He also got a Ripstick for Christmas, and is surprisingly very good at it. Since it hasn't been outside to get all dirty yet, he rides it around the bar in the kitchen, and usually gets in other people's way and then gets mad at them for messing him up!
Now for the big surprise . . . we got a Wii! We have a lot of sport games, Indiana Jones, a football game and Mario Kart. Caleb can really only play Mario Kart, but he likes Indiana Jones. My dad said that Caleb doesn't really care about playing the game, he just likes to jump off cliffs and whip things!

I gave Zoee this sweater, matchy-matchy with mine! She was okay with it on Christmas day, because she got two ham bones that she had to go through, and then she played Frisbee outside, but I tried to put the sweater on today and she nearly ate it off. Maybe we'll wait until she is out of the chewing stage, and hopefully then it will fit her better!

With all the snow, and because Zoee is blind as a bat, a tennis ball isn't working very well for playing fetch. So, we found this hot pink Frisbee, and she chases it just fine. We threw it pretty far one time, and she went after it and just plummeted into a huge drift!

Uncle Math came over on Christmas morning, because Santa came here for them. He and Dad had their matching Real Salt Lake shirts, and now all they needed were tickets. Dad couldn't understand why his shirt had a bulge and Math's didn't!

Christmas Morning at Oma Kim and Opa Brent's
I wanted to get something very special for Oma Kim, because she is so special. It took a while to figure something out, and I finally came up with my brilliant idea (I hoped). I got super cute pictures of each of us four kids and framed them. That was my brilliant idea, but then I found an essay that I wrote about a role model - Oma Kim. So, I brought it home from school and typed it up all cutesy and gave that to her, too. My mom bet me 1o bucks that Oma would cry when she read it, and when she didn't, my mom's excuse was, "She didn't want to cry in front of all those people!"
Christmas at Oma Cheryl and Opa Larry's
What do you know ... my dad's eyes are closed!

For some reason Mom wanted me to take a picture of Dad doing the dishes at his mom's house. She thought it was pretty unlike him, I guess, but I don't blame her.
Matchy-matchy
Kinley, the pickle girl
Of course, I had to take pictures of Kyson. He was just so smiley and adorable! I call him the baby brother that my mom never had for me.
