This is our new birdie! I figured that Libbie was getting kind of lonely and I didn't really have a lot of time to get her out, so we got her a friend (hopefully a husband, but we don't know if its a boy or girl). We named him Periwinkle, Peri for short, because that's what color he is. Nathan really wanted to name him Peatie Jr, PJ for short, but he isn't exactly Peatie's son, so we couldn't name him PJ.
I got Peri from my friend Ashley. Her aunt had two birds that mated and laid 10 eggs, and they were having a lot of trouble getting rid of the 6 that hatched, so I got Peri for free. It was way cool. His hatch-day is sometime in November, but since they don't all hatch on the same day we don't know exactly what day.

Hopefully Peri isn't a 'her'. But his nose is starting to look different and darker than Libbie's, so I think Peri is a boy.
